Product Description

Level 2 BLS and AED for Healthcare Professionals

[Course costs £50 [Inclusive VAT] with AED Training per person

This is a Regulated Qualification [BLS and Management of AED] and is designed for clinical professionals registered with the General Medical Council, General Dental Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council and covers the European Resuscitation Council and UK Resuscitation Council standards for clinical practice and offers full objectives to fulfil verifiable CPD requirements.

The course provides the training required to provide effective emergency lifesaving first aid care using safe resuscitation with an Automated External Defibrillator. This is achieved through the understanding of the BLS /AED algorithm and the responsibilities and treatment principles of AED use. The course can be modified to offer the CPR and AED Course instead which is an extra hour to include management of choking.

The cost of all our courses includes registration and certification with the relevant awarding body chosen as well as a free comprehensive first aid book.

We are first aid specialists and concentrate on your learning not your acting skills – we don’t embarrass you and ask you to perform role play ! We only have a maximum of 10 people training to make sure you have lots of our time and encouragement.

Workplace First Aid

Having the correct first aid provision in your workplace is not only a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of you and your employees. However, here at The Health and Social Care Training Academy, we know that it can be difficult to determine exactly how many first aiders you need and what type of training they require.

That’s why we’re delighted to introduce our First Aid Requirements Calculator. Designed to be quick and easy to use, this online assessment tool uses the recently updated HSE regulations to accurately calculate the cover you need in your workplace.
