Jon Wheater

RGN, RSCN, ENB 405, ENB 998, BSc (Hons) (Child Health), MA (Education), NMC Nurse Teacher, QCF Assessor

Spanning over three decades, Jon has held a range of senior nursing and management positions in areas such as adult care, children's care, neonatal intensive care, community children’s nursing and palliative care. He is a highly experienced clinical facilitator, supervisor, mentor, coach and project manager. Jon has many years of senior experience in resuscitation and first aid training and leads a number of trainers and facilitators.

As a senior academic in health and social care, Jon has held director posts in two of the largest and busiest university faculties of health and social care in England. He is a visiting academic within Higher Education.

Clinical management experience includes as a Director of Care within children's palliative care, an appointed Care Quality Commission Registered Manager, a controlled drug accountable officer and a number of named and executive lead positions for safeguarding.

Innovative and challenging by nature, Jon is a credible professional and offers clients a wide range of risk strategy experience, education consultancy, compliance review and clinical debrief support.


Mary Phillips

Mary Phillips

BSc (Hons) Nursing Child, BSc (Hons) Psychology and Social Science, Post Graduate Diploma Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, Graduate Certificate Special and Intensive Care of the Newborn, L2 Certificate in Initial Counselling Skills, Community Practitioner Nurse Prescriber.

Mary is an experienced children's nurse and health visitor with a wide range of skills in community health and specialist health promotion for families with young children. Mary is particularly experienced in neonatal care and specialist care of the newborn and brings considerable experience in the support of physical and emotional development in children, early detection of ill health, child protection as well as perinatal and infant mental health.

Mary is a well respected professional with excellent people skills and brings ongoing development of family support programmes such as antenatal and postnatal classes, newborn programmes including behavioural support, sleep support for pre school children and their families and transition to parenthood in the early weeks.


Linda Varley- England

Linda is an experienced professional and trainer who provides Internal Quality Assurance for courses we deliver. Linda is the Director of Sole-Utions Ltd and delivers a wide range of nursing care, holistic therapies and first aid courses across Surrey.
