My Own Mentor Ltd [incorporating The Health and Social Care Training Academy] is registered in England and Wales under number 7553711. The registered office is The Health and Social Care Training Academy, Suite 127 Waterhouse Business Centre, 2 Cromar Way, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 2QE.

My Own Mentor Ltd reserves the right to refuse any application from an organisation or individual client for any of the services offered if impropriety such as plagiarism or professional misdirection is suspected.

We are a registered centre for a number of awarding bodies and therefore commit to the highest standard of internal and external quality assurance and audit processes. We state a positive training commitment and welcome the scrutiny and rigour required to award the qualifications we deliver. Our clinical centre and trainers uphold the highest commitment whereby our systems, policies and procedures are continually monitored for effectiveness, satisfaction and respect of the client and their needs.

The learning experience of our students is paramount to our philosophy of teaching. Class sizes for sessions such as first aid will be a minimum of 4 people unless otherwise arranged and apart from pre-arranged one-to-one Basic Life Support updates for Health Professionals, courses will never be less than 2 people training together. 2. Privacy

My Own Mentor Ltd does not carry any information of visitors to our website capable of identifying individuals other than e-mails or completed a Contact Form- whereas these sections invite you to submit your contact details and other information about yourself or your organisation in each case, the purpose for which you are invited to give us information is clear and transparent.

The contact details of clients held on record will never be disclosed to any third party. Payment details such as credit card numbers are used only for merchant services and discarded immediately after payments are made.

4. Services

My Own Mentor Ltd provides education, interview preparation and career services. We will provide the best possible service for all prospective and registered clients but will not be held accountable or responsible for unprofessional behaviour or practices demonstrated by any client. We commit to work closely with all clients and focus on improving their academic and professional skill capabilities.

5. Copyright

You are permitted to view materials for personal use from this website however you agree that you will not publish, disseminate or distribute any portion of any materials without written permission from My Own Mentor Ltd.

6. Cancellations

It is our policy to charge 100% of the agreed cost to clients who cancel bookings within 7 working days of the agreed booking time for clinical supervision or a classroom based sessions in our premises our yours. Learners who are more than 15 minutes late for a class will not be allowed to enter the session and will still be charged at 100% of the agreed rate. Learners who cancel at late notice will still be charged as well as clients who do not present with the minimum quorum agreed.

A charge of 50% the total fee will be made if a class or group booking is cancelled between 14 and 7 working days before training is planned to take place, and a 100% chargeable if cancelled less than 7 working days. Cancellation must be made by e-mail and not by telephone. You will be made aware of these conditions on booking our services.

If a study day or course is cancelled by us then a full refund will offered or a booking onto the next available day/course/event. We strive to offer a positive teaching experience and wish to work closely will all our clients to make it positive and enjoyable for all and we fully understand that your needs may change. Please contact us in lots of time before training is due take place to discuss any commitment difficulties you may be experiencing.

7. Late Payment

Please note that late payment of invoices will incur a payment of 10% of the total bill on final settlement.
