Mini Medics First Aid

A fun, practical introduction to first aid for children in years 2, 5 and 6

Mini Medics is a lively, age-appropriate first aid course designed to introduce children to essential first aid skills and how to respond in an emergency.

  • Our 3-hour Mini Medics course is ideal for pupils in Year 5 and Year 6, helping to build confidence, safety awareness, and a sense of responsibility
  • For younger pupils, we offer a modified 1-hour Mini Medics course, suitable from Year 2, focusing on basic safety awareness and building confidence
  • For secondary-aged pupils, we recommend our Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus.

Jargon-free and highly accessible, Mini Medics is designed to suit different ages, keep their attention and suit their curriculum requirements.

  • ⏰ Around 1 hour – a bite-size introductory session for Year 2 and above

  • ⏰ Half-school day – ideal for more comprehensive learning and varied content

  • ⏰ Full-school day – perfect for adding extra content, especially ahead of summer camps or outdoor and adventure activities

The course blends clear, simple explanations with hands-on practice, using real-life scenarios and child-friendly equipment.

Sessions are delivered by experienced trainers with nursing and police experience in the familiar setting of your own school.
